GENERAL QUESTION

 Question: Do you develop by yourselves mini Ilda, maxi Ilda and the Electroconcept DMX HF wireless system?

 

Answer: Yes, all these products are internally developed by our Research and Development department and manufactured in France in the Lyon region.

 

 DMX HF QUESTION

 

Question: How many machines can I control with the Electroconcept DMX wireless system?

Answer: As many as you want. The only constraints are the same as with wired DMX, namely 512 channels per universe. With the Electroconcept DMX wireless system you can control up to a maximum of 31 universes per installation for 15872 DMX channels, regardless of the number of machines installed.

 

 Question: Does the addressing system of my machines change with the Electroconcept DMX wireless system?

Answer: No, you address your machines as you always have. The only thing changing is the time saved on wiring.

 

 Question: Can I use 2 or more emitters with the Electroconcept DMX wireless system?

 

Answer: Yes, exactly. To do this you only need to emit on 2 or more different Universes/frequencies.

 

MiniIlda QUESTIONS

 

 

Question: My Mini Ilda software only works in demo mode.

 

Answer: You need to have a MiniIlda interface connected at the start of the software to get all available functions. If you are still in demo mode after having connected a MiniIlda interface, check that you properly installed the corresponding device driver.

To do this you need to go to the control panel -> system -> device manager then manually install the driver.

 

 Question: Does my Mini Ilda software work on windows7™, windows8™, Linux or Mac™ ?

 

Answer: For now the MiniIlda software only works under Windows™, from Windows 98 to Windows8, in 32 or 64bits version. Since 2012 you don’t need any driver installation…

 

 Question: I have an older version of the MiniIlda box (no Hid, before 2012) with Windows8™, and I’m unable to install the drivers.

 

Answer: Windows8™ does not natively authorize the installation of digitally unsigned drivers, so you need to manually install the drivers. In order to do this you can follow this tutorial:  WINDOWS 8 DRIVERS TUTORIAL

 

 Question: Some figures are incomplete when I use the MiniIlda software with my green laser.

 

Answer: Think of checking the Monochrome checkbox in the setting part of the software.
